Selection of connectors in the configurator

Wire end ferrules are available in insulated or uninsulated versions. Wire end ferrules with protective collar (colored) also offer additional kink protection for the connected wire. The color coding of the protective collar also provides information about the maximum wire or conductor cross-section. We use the color coding according to DIN standard 46228.

Flat receptacles are available in various designs, lengths and widths. The common sizes are 4.8 mm and 6.3 mm. The color of the insulation gives an indication of the processable cable cross section.

The flat plug is suitable for safe contacting even under movement, e.g. in cars. The latch prevents unintentional disconnection of the blade terminal. The tabs are available in different versions, lengths and widths. The common sizes are 4.8 mm and 6.35 mm.

Forked cable lugs are available for different bolt or screw diameters and for different cable cross sections. The crimping cable lugs in fork form are available in uninsulated and insulated versions. The color of the insulation indicates the coding of the conductor cross section.

Ring cable lugs (also called crimp cable lug ring shape) are used e.g. for grounding cables. Ring cable lugs enable a clamp contact on electrically conductive components, especially by gripping a screw which is connected to an electrically conductive component and contacts the cable lug or lugs by screwing them in.

We tin the ends with ROHS2 compliant solder and processing. This is optimal for later processing for soldering to a printed circuit board or to connectors.

Tubular cable lugs are available with different dimensions and different flange holes for bolts. The sizes of holes range from M3 to M20. Possible cable cross-sections range from 0.75 mm² to 120 mm², depending on the tubular cable lug used.

Tubular cable lugs with additional shrink tubing are available on request.
