Round plugs are suitable as counterparts to the receptacles.
Receptacles are crimped on with special crimping or pressing pliers. For this purpose, the cable to be fitted with a round plug sleeve is stripped to the length specified by the manufacturer. The sleeve matching the conductor cross-section is then placed on the stripped end piece and formed with the crimping pliers or a press with an appropriate die. The deformation creates a secure connection between the stranded wire and the round sleeve. In order to have a quality control, some crimping pliers leave a marking in the sleeve. The crimping pliers have an engraving in the die for this purpose.
