Flat receptacle

Receptacles are available in insulated and uninsulated versions. They can be used in various applications. They are used to connect cables to loudspeakers, switching voltage and supply voltage connections. The sleeves can also be used as earth straps, protective earth connections or in the automotive sector. The durable flat receptacles are used for the installation of car radios, car telephones and other technical devices.

Flat receptacles are available in various designs, lengths and widths. The most common sizes are 4.8 mm and 6.35 mm. The colour of the insulation indicates the cable cross-section that can be processed. The width can be chosen between 0.5 and 0.8 mm. There are uninsulated, partially insulated and fully insulated flat receptacles. There is also the option of crimping sleeves with a branch onto the fine and finest stranded conductors in order to be able to plug on another flat receptacle (e.g. for a PE or earth connection).
